Slight of frame and small of build. Posture is a bit stooped, and he habitually keeps his shoulders somewhat hunched. His skin color was originally a well-tanned dark olive, but decades spent poring over scrolls and dusty tomes throughout the Mediterranean and Europe have given him a pale and somewhat waxy pallor, with a slightly greenish hue. His hair is past shoulder length, thick and pitch black, with a relatively tight curl to it; but few have ever seen it thus. He keeps it pulled tightly back and bound up in a severe scholar’s knot at the base of his neck at all times. Facial features are somewhat pronounced, due to his ancestry and thinness; a narrow face with angular features, small mouth with thin lips, pronounced brow ridge and roman nose that make his dark brown eyes appear deep-set and shadowed in most lights.
